I'll expand on the little box to the right. My name is Aishwar. I am a student at the University of Waterloo in Canada. I am studying Systems Design Engineering and will be graduating soon

I have a general interest in Web-based software, databases - how they work and tuning them to improve performance, philosophy, art, and photography

I am also an explorer of AJAX - what can be done with it and how. This is an amazing movement (yes, movement) for web-based software - now using them can feel as natural as desktop apps. In this exploration, I have come to realize the crazy powers of JavaScript and love experimenting with it - Javascript can truly make the web a much more interactive experience

Recently in school, I was exposed to the world of pattern recognition and computer vision. I find these very interesting as well and am contemplating spending more time on these fields in the future
